Understanding Your Answers
Mostly A: Beginner
Start with instruction, familiar movements, and time to build confidence. You belong here, and you don’t need any experience to begin.
Mostly B: Intermediate
You have a foundation to build on. Look for classes that match your goals while continuing to develop your form, strength, and stamina.
Mostly C: Experienced or Advanced
You have consistent experience and can usually manage your form, effort, and exercise choices. You can still benefit from coaching and should get guidance when trying an unfamiliar class.
A mix of answers?
That’s common. You may be experienced in cardio and new to strength training, or comfortable lifting weights but unfamiliar with circuits. If you chose A for form or following a class, begin with more instruction in those areas.
Your result is a starting point, not a test you pass or fail. Being advanced doesn’t mean lifting the heaviest weights or choosing high impact.
Before your first class, tell your trainer about any pain, limitations, or injuries you are recovering from. This questionnaire helps with class selection; it does not determine medical readiness for exercise.
